happy birthday to me

Officially 1 year older.
As I grow older, birthday celebrations and presents are not something I anticipate anymore.

I went jogging today, something that we always do when we were together. Not anymore. I wants to go swimming, an activity I missed doing with him. These are the only 2 things I really want to do today, besides having a nice dinner.

Bought myself a swimming costume. Birthday present. LOL
I look crap in swim suit. Let me show you!

Why should I feel motivated?

I have been exercising very little last week. Didn't go as my planned workout schedule. Really tired working on FB Collection 17. And also, I don't feel as motivated as before. Losing 3 kgs are not going to satisfy me. 10 kgs more to go. I NEED MY MOTIVATION BACK!

WHY I SHOULD FEEL MOTIVATED?

1. How I feel after a workout
I always feel great, more energetic after an workout. I like it when I am perspiring alot. It is like my fats crying, pleading me not to burn them away, but I don't like them in my body.


2. Calories burned
Those fitness app in our phone can track the amount of calories burned during a workout. I don't know how accurate are them, but I always feel thrilled to keep track of my calories intake and also my calories burned. The more I exercise, the more calories burned, the happier I get.
Currently I am using "iDAT" apps on my phone.

3. How I am going to look
Needless to say, when you are UK 6, you always look better in all kinds of clothing. I have been a UK 6 so I know. I don't need to worry I look like crap every now and then, and I don't need to hide my bulging stomach.

4. Blog
I have been reading withlovefay.com for the longest time. She got the determination to get the body she once. Most importantly, she is a motivation because she was fat once and now she got a body I will die for.
5.Success Stories
Yeah, reading successful stories sure make us realise that all of us can do it, as long as we are determined enough. I love reading shape magazine, the success story section (:

6. Rewards
I always reward myself with new workout clothes. If I workout as planned for the month, I will buy myself a new sports bra. When I drop 5 kgs more, I will get myself a lululemon yoga sport bra.

7. Fitting into new clothes
I shall go look for a pretty dress which I love alot, in UK 6 and hang it in my room. So I can feel motivated, to work out, to slim down to fit into that particular dress. (:

8. Being attractive
Yes, it is a shallow reason, but most people workout for this reason. Yet, most of them won't admit it. I workout, wanting to be attractive, wanting feel good and sexy about my body.

9. Stress relief
Yoga always make me feel so gooooooooood. For each lessons, we concentrate just to complete and maintain our poses, not thinking about other things.

10. "Me" Time
I really enjoy exercising myself. If I am to join any new sport activity, I will not ask a friend along. Unless we really enjoy doing the same sports. exercising alone just make me feel more peaceful, more concentrated, more into the workout I am doing. Thus I seldom workout together with people, except that I do enjoy swimming with friends.

Now, I am going to jog in half an hour time.

Had bought a few supplements to aid my health and wellness, and also to brace the result of my weight loss. I don't know if it is of any benefit, but let's hope it works.


HerbalLife Meal Replacement Formula 1
It is basically protein that helps to control your appetite and maintain lean body mass. Best combine with healthy fruits and vegetables to result in lesser hunger and a balance approach for your weight management.

Normally I eat my meal replacement for lunch and dinner, because I read up and it says that breakfast is important to wake your metabolism. It is only 79 calories if mix with plain water, and around 200 calories if mix with milk, depending on the type of milk you choose.

The hunger pang will still attack me at times, and simply I fill my stomach with fruits and vegetables if I am really really hungry. But mostly, the hunger is still controllable.

I had friends who lost 15kgs in 3 months just by taking this.

I lost myself to booze!

Friday 03/08/12

Didn't manage to wake up for my morning jog, and it is pouring so heavily in the evening. Didn't manage to exercise at all, before I started to put junk food into my mouth. T.T

EXERCISE OF THE DAY

  • none!!!
DIET OF THE DAY
  • Breakfast - Cereal with blueberries and low-fat milk
  • Lunch - HerbalLife meal replacement 
  • Dinner - Beer (4-5mugs? I can't remember), Salad, Chicken Wing x 3, Pizza x 2 slides

The dinner is so unhealthy that I woke up the next morning, weighed myself and that my body fats have increase by 2%. I think alcohol is really the killer!!!

Saturday 04/08/12

I forced myself to get myself out of bed for my yoga lesson despite sleeping at 2a.m. Was really tired, but I don't wanna miss my regular hot yoga lesson just because I was having too much fun the previous night. Sometimes, it is all about discipline!

Trying to slim down the hard way

I finally decided to turn back to blogging. Was struggling with my weight issue the past few months. Back in April, I decided to resort to liposuction to remove my fats for my tummy and thighs. I had already book the air tickets for me and my mother, paid the deposit for the surgery. End up I back out last minute, cause of the Hatyai bomb!

Thinking I was going for liposuction, I didn't control my eating and end up gaining weight! :( SOOOOOO UPSET!

Then I got so demoralized when I saw the comment of a buyer in my GMarket listing! She was saying something like I can't be a model for my own blogshop cause I am too aunty and fat, UK size 10. And some other mean stuffs.

Really damn hurtful!

And a month back, I received a call from my ex-boyfriend's girlfriend, asking me to back-off.

This is the time where my motivation came. Wanting to slim down and becoming prettier, and let him know that I will be better without him, hoping he will regret too!

I want me UK Size 6 back!




These photos were taken 3 years back! I was fatter before this, but I managed to slim down after turning to slimming pills. But the yoyo effect caused me to become what I am now.

Thus, no more slimming pills for me. I AM GOING TO SLIM DOWN, TO BECOME A UK SIZE 6 THROUGH THE HEALTHY WAY! That's by exercising and controlling of diet!

For the past weeks, I have been controlling my diet and exercising. But there are times I still drink and eat normally.


Here is what I am 2 weeks ago.




I know the fats very unglam. But please bear with me. Let me prove to myself that I can drop to Size 6 through exercising.
